The STIHL iMOW® 5 EVO robotic lawn mower provides fully automatic support for lawn care on medium-sized lawns in private gardens. Powered by a powerful lithium-ion battery, the three free-swinging blades of the Disc-Cut system achieve a clean cut in shorter operating times compared to the STIHL iMOW® 5 thanks to their high blade speed.
With the robotic lawn mower, you can mow on slopes and mulch at the same time. The grass is chopped up so that it can be used directly as fertiliser for the lawn. Thanks to the reliable driving performance of the iMOW® 5 EVO robotic mower, lawns of up to 1,500 m² and slopes of up to 45% can be efficiently mowed. The optional upgrade kit even allows your iMOW® to work on slopes of up to 55%.
The ultrasonic sensors and a speed adapted to the situation enable obstacles to be approached gently, so that the lawn is mowed close to the object and the STIHL iMOW® 5 EVO automatically changes direction on contact. Intelligent turning manoeuvres enable mowing in narrow spaces. Tilt sensors are used to adjust the speed on uneven terrain.
The control panel enables easy operation via a few push buttons. In addition, intuitive control is supported by voice output. The current status is displayed via the LED backstripe and light patterns on the LED matrix on the top. The LED front strip provides daytime running lights in 3 different modes. You can control your iMOW® 5 Evo robotic mower at any time via Bluetooth®, Wi-Fi or, if your robotic mower is outside your home area, via mobile phone using the MY iMOW® app. You can also use the app to individually adjust the cutting height in different stages. In the mowing schedule, you can define time slots for weekly schedules during which your iMOW® 5 EVO from STIHL will operate independently. If necessary, you can also start your robotic lawn mower manually. If the robotic mower detects that it is being carried, it triggers an acoustic alarm signal, which is automatically turned off when the iMOW® is set down or after a certain amount of time. The iMOW® automatically locks its control functions when it is removed from a previously defined home area. With the help of the rain sensor, you can individually set whether mowing should continue or pause in wet weather. The docking station serves as a base and charging station for the mowing robot.
